REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – Following the recent launch of its technology and policy-focused youth safety services, ResponsiTech is attending its first international conference MJBIZCON in Toronto on August 14 – 16.
ResponsiTech provides technological solutions to pressing needs around youth safety – an issue of growing interest to lawmakers and regulators. It offers tried-and-tested solutions for online youth safety including state-of-the-art age verification technology, age-restricted ad buying services, industry-specific parental filtering label, member and affiliate website monitoring, a youth safety plan for applications, and more. Together these solutions will shield the cannabis industry from regulators concerned about youth access and demonstrates the industry’s ability to self-regulate and comply with government restrictions with regards to youth safety.
“Since 2002 we helped other international industries protect children and demonstrate to governments that industry can self-regulate. For example, our parental filtering label was recognized with international and legislative recognitions including the ASAE “Associations Make a Better World’ and Congressperson Jane Harman, Cities of San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles and California State Senate and Assembly representatives. Polices developed for ‘high-risk’ TLDs were adopted by ICANN. We are pleased to bring our technology, services, and expertise to the international cannabis industry.” said Joan Irvine, CEO & Co-Founder ResponsiTech.
“We felt it was important to meet with Canadian companies and government officials prior to October 17 when cannabis becomes legal. We can learn so much from Canada since it is THE world leader in the cannabis industry.”
Responsible Internet Technology Company (ResponsiTech) provides a broad range of youth safety technology and services including state-of-the art age verification technology and age-restricted ad buying services.
